Privacy Policy

PodiumReel is operated by CoachInvoice LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the PodiumReel app and service collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@podiumreel.com.

Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, which you use to sign in, and an account ID we assign to you.
Session videos. Video of your skating sessions. This includes videos you upload from your device, and video we obtain at your request from recordings made at your rink (for example, by a rink camera service), which we cut into short clips for you.
Session requests and notes. The rink, dates and times of the sessions you ask us to clip, any recurring schedule you set up, and notes you add (for example, which elements you want clipped).
Content you add in the app. Clip titles, tags, locations, collections and saved notes.
Account deletion feedback. If you delete your account, the reason you choose and any comment you add.

We don't collect your location, contacts or device advertising identifiers, and we don't use third-party analytics or advertising in the app.

How we use your information

To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To create, store and show you your clips, and to process the sessions you request.
To respond to your support requests and send you messages about the service (such as sign-in links).
To develop and improve how PodiumReel finds and clips skating elements in session video. To do this we may keep session recordings and the moments marked in them, without your email address attached.

We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run PodiumReel. They handle your data only on our behalf:

Supabase: account sign-in and our database.
Cloudflare: video storage and this website.
Apple: app distribution, and TestFlight if you test pre-release versions.

Your clips are private to your account. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of anyone, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).

Children

Many skaters are children. Accounts for skaters under 13 must be set up and managed by a parent, guardian or coach acting with a parent's permission. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without a parent's consent. If you believe a child has given us information without that consent, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account, your clips and their video files, your session requests and schedules, and your notes and collections. We keep a short deletion record (your email address, the date, and the reason you gave) so we can answer questions about the deletion and improve the service. Session recordings and marked moments kept for improving our video processing (described above) are not linked to your account after it's deleted.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account anytime in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing us.
Delete individual clips in the app.
Access or correct your information, or ask us to delete specific recordings, by emailing support@podiumreel.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

Your data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Video files are kept in private storage, and the app can only fetch your own clips, using short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
